You will need a Nintendo DS with an flashcart to really enjoy NDS Roms. There aren't any fully working NDS emulators yet. When you put a NDS rom (it has the .nds extension) on a flashcart, you'll be able to play the full game on your Nintendo DS. You can use the CycloDS evolution, R4 DS or many other flashcarts for this. Check out the Nintendo DS in the banner above this text for more info.
